WHAT IS THE COLD PROCESS OF MAKING SOAP?

Cold process soap is made by combining oils and sodium hydroxide(lye) causing a chemical reaction called saponification. Cold process soap requires patience. it needs time to harden while in the mold 24-48 hours. Then it requires a cure time of 4-6 weeks allowing water to evaporate. this curing creates a firmer harder bar that lasts longer in the shower.

Our soaps are produced in an environment where pure nut oils and butters are used so please be advised of this and use the appropriate cautions for those with nut allergies.

Please consult a medical professional before using essential oils if you are pregnant or nursing or have any medical conditions as certain essential oils may not be recommended.

All of our bars are hand poured and cut. Please allow for the one of a kind uniqueness of our soaps to shine when purchasing as no two bars are exactly alike.
